When it's time to call.
Furnace blowing cold air
Usually the ignitor, flame sensor, or gas valve. Often a 30-minute fix if caught early.
Smells like gas
Stop. Leave the house. Call your gas company first, then call us. Don't run the system.
Short cycling on heat
Overheating, dirty filter, failing limit switch, or undersized return duct. Worth a look before the heat exchanger cracks.
Yellow flame instead of blue
Combustion issue. Could be dirty burner, low gas pressure, or a partially blocked flue. Don't ignore it.
Loud bang or boom on startup
Delayed ignition. Gas is pooling before it lights. Get someone out fast — this damages the heat exchanger.

Ignitors, flame sensors, gas valves, blower motors, limit switches, control boards. Most common parts are on the truck.
Heat exchanger inspection
Critical safety check. A cracked heat exchanger puts carbon monoxide into your house. We use combustion analysis, not guesswork.
Heat pump service
Defrost cycles, reversing valves, auxiliary heat strips. Heat pumps in DFW make economic sense if they're set up right.
Dual-fuel systems
Heat pump for the mild days, gas furnace for the deep cold. Set the switchover temperature right and you save money every winter.
Furnace replacement
When the heat exchanger is cracked or the unit's past its safe life, replacement is the only honest answer. Same brand-neutral approach as our AC installs.

Carbon monoxide is silent. We test combustion, check the heat exchanger, and confirm the flue is clear. Non-negotiable.
